Dyslexia Works was set up in 2003 to provide Dyslexia Awareness Training and Consultancy services for all employers and organisations.

At Dyslexia Works we set out to inform and support employers in improving and enhancing the working environment of people with dyslexia and related difficulties.

We aim to show you how, with a little planning and adjustment you can release the potential of many valuable employees.

We can also aim to show you how to adopt dyslexia-friendly policies for clients and customers.

Our training will help you develop a disability strategy to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act.

 

Dyslexia Works provides training and consulting expertise for all organisations in order to:

·        Raise awareness about dyslexia and related difficulties.

·        Identify and explain the diverse working styles of personnel with dyslexia

·        Review, improve and develop business processes in order to achieve full Inclusion in the Workplace

·         Update company understanding of recent legislation on Disability Discrimination, especially dyslexia and related difficulties

·        Enable organisations to meet the needs of individuals with Hidden Disabilities

 

 We offer awareness training sessions at your premises. These are designed to fit your needs, from half-day sessions or longer, depending on your requirements. Our courses will be of particular interest to HR managers, departmental managers and supervisors.

The course aims to:

·         Raise awareness of what causes dyslexia and related difficulties in order todevelop an understanding of how these may affect an individual's performance.

·         Explore ways in which reasonable adjustments to the working environment could make it more dyslexia friendly, leading to an increase in performance and productivity and compliance with the law.
